Red Thread II pipe

Red Thread IIA is listed under Underwriters Laboratories Standard 971-2004 for non-metallic underground pipelines for motor vehicles, highly miscible, concentrated and aviation and marine fuels. Pipes and fittings are also listed by Underwriters Laboratories of Canada with both listings in file MH9162.

Socket connection

For sizes 8 "by 24" (200mm - 600mm), use the appropriate socket joint method. The pipe is supplied with one bell end (integral funnel coupler or factory metallized coupler) and the other tapered end. An epoxy adhesive is used to seal the joint.

Threaded and coupled (T.A.B.)

T.A.B. - high quality connection method for Red Thread II pipes from 2 "to 6" (50 mm - 150 mm). The ends supplied from the factory have a special profile, double-start thread for fast and reliable installation. Combined with a specially formulated RIS epoxy adhesive, it promotes positive make-up and prevents pull-off during vulcanization.
